Split Mail Handler Features

Split Mail Handler enables you to send e-mails with huge attachments [anything larger than 1,000,000 bytes (1 Mb), up to Outlook’s limit] to a recipient who also has Split Mail Handler, without requiring a "third-party" server to handle the attachment. You can send large pictures, video clips and documents directly to your addressees, completely bypassing the need to store them temporarily outside your control. This means you have complete transmission control over essentially any file that would otherwise need that

“third-party” help.

Split Mail Handler actually splits each

large attachment into segments (initially 1Mb),  to the original e-mail message.  Finally, all of the special attachment and segment e-mails are removed from your inbox, leaving the original e-mail with each reassembled attachment intact.

Also, if you have set up Outlook to handle non-default inbox folders, you can select one, hit the 'Apply' Split Mail button, and any complete 'Split Mail' e-mail sets will be converted and then moved into your default inbox.

The 1Mb threshold is configurable and can be adjusted to allow larger segments (up to the size allowed by your e-

mail server). So, you can set up Split Mail Handler to use a 10 Mb byte threshold, and a 50 Mb message will be sent in five segments.

You can also decide to deactivate the sending side of Split Mail Handler, so e-mails can be sent as-is, without automatic scanning by the Handler.
